As of June 1, 2023, I am officially retired from teaching the Buteyko Breathing Technique. I, however, am still available for consultation regarding this technique.
Welcome...please read my Disclaimer!
As a Breathing Educator and Relaxation/Stress Management Specialist I use relaxation methods and the Buteyko Breathing Method to help clients achieve their goals of stress reduction and better breathing.
The Buteyko Breathing Method (Buteyko) was created by Doctor Konstantin Buteyko in 1952 in Russia. It is a series of breathing exercises that reduce the rate and volume of air that a person breathes and helps restore respiration to a correct level. Initial studies have indicated that Buteyko has been shown to help with breathing difficulties.
Did you know that regulating the rate and volume of breath can help reduce asthma attacks, manage stress, strengthen immune systems, increase endurance and promote better relaxation? By practicing more efficient breathing, those suffering with upper respiratory problems can decrease their symptoms. Athletes can improve their performance. People in general good health can maintain a more consistent state of well-being and positive energy.
